The cauldron was a symbol of protection and life in times when modern electrical comforts didn’t exist. Survival during the cold months depended on this central source of fire, warmth, nutrition and communal gathering. Today the cauldron symbolizes many things, namely the Divine Feminine, the Womb, Fertility, Transformation and Alchemy.
In this 2 Session workshop each student will learn the fundamental skills to create and decorate their own Cauldron out of clay. The first session is to sculpt the original Cauldron. Students will return for a second session several weeks later to paint/glaze their work. Each session runs approx. 2 - 2 ½ hours.
This workshop is open to all ages, younger children should have assistance.
Group Workshops are custom scheduled and designed for your small group needs. The ideal group size to work comfortably in the space is 6, however group size can range from 2-12 students.
